1960s, historical, a concrete and walled playground area, at a large council housing estate, Churchill Gardens in Pimlico, inner London, England, UK. Built between 1948 and 1962 to replace victorian terraces damaged in the Blitz of WW2, this was a huge estate of social housing, with 32 tower blocks providing 1,600 homes. Outside the flats, in the walled playground enclosure with a concrete base, a traditional wooden and metal roundabout.
