1940s, historical, a little girl by the steps outside the front of Bramall Hall, Bramhall, Stockport, England, UK. A timber-framed Tudor manor house that dates back to the 14th century, with later additions, the house and surrounding parkland was acquired by the local authority in 1935 and became a museum. The Davenport family, which it is believed built the house, held the manor for over 500 years.
