Current 13-7-1960: Who shot? A gunshot rang out from the hotel room on the fifth floor of a farm towards Karl Johans gate. At the same moment, a middle-aged man collapsed on a staircase down the street with his hands pressed to his stomach. Before he passed out, the 56-year-old station foreman Nils Mathiesen moaned to the people who crowded around him: Who shot me? While the doctors fought for Mathiesen's life and people hurried on, the investigators began their thorough work. After six hectic hours, they were able to answer the question. The scene reveals a bustling kitchen environment filled with various elements that contribute to its lively atmosphere. In the foreground, a wooden table is laden with a variety of fresh vegetables and ingredients: leafy greens, a bulbous onion, and herbs, their textures and colors contrasting against one another. The arrangement is somewhat casual, suggesting a hurried yet vibrant preparation process.
