The wreck of the Steam Ship SS Falcon, which sank in October 1926 heavily laden with a cargo of jute and matches. She caught fire, and although an attempt was made to tow her back to safety, she was considered a lost cause and fearing that her remains would block Dover harbour she was towed to langdon Bay where she rests today.
