Police have revealed that two people found dead in a Chinatown warehouse devastated by a fire were men - as they continue to appeal for witnesses to the blaze. Officers are appealing to members of Manchester’s homeless community who may have been in the Nicholas Street building to come forward. It is understood the two men were rough sleepers. They have not yet been identified. A joint investigation has been launched by police and fire chiefs to establish the cause of the blaze. One theory is that a fire may have been started in the building by homeless people trying to keep warm.
