Dining room in today's Waldhotel, formerly the Waldsanatorium, where Katia Mann stayed in 1912 for treatment of a catarrh of the tip of the eye. Thomas Mann visited her here. The dining room could have been the inspiration for a description in the novel The Magic Mountain. At the Waldhotel Davos, which used to be called the Waldsanatorium. It owes its fame to Katja Mann.
