Perspective of "El Bajón" dive site, a famous seamount within the "Mar de las Calmas" Marine Reserve at La Restinga in El Hierro island, one year after volcanic eruptions that occurred within a short distance. This is one of the star dives of the reserve, both for its spectacular geological seafloors, as for the large number of pelagic life that attracts. The image tries to show the impressive structure of "El Bajón", consisting of two hump-shaped seamounts and a circular recess formed by erosion, that contrast the elevations as a reverse negative.
