Children at the WVS Nursery at Hanover Lodge, Regent's Park who are waiting to be evacuated to nurseries in the country, received their Christmas gifts at a party at which Mr Bernard Carter, the American Red Cross delegate in Great Britain, acted as Father Christmas. Christmas wishes in the form of 1,600 food parcels have been sent by the employees of the Sperry Gyroscope Company of America for distribution to fellow British workers in the British Sperry Comapny, Great West Road.
