Indian elephant (Elephas maximus indicus) called Fritz served as a circus animal in the Barnum & Bailey Circus. The elephant was strangled due to aggressiveness during the Circus European Tour. The stuffed elephant is now displayed in the Musee des Beaux-Arts de Tours (Museum of Fine Arts) in Tours, Indre-et-Loire, France.
