Herr Wolf Hess (l), son of Rudolf Hess, the 75-year-old former Nazi deputy leader, and Airey Neave, Conservative MP for Abingdon, arriving at the Foreign Office in London. They were seeing George Thomson, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Minister responsible for European Affairs. Herr Hess flew into London to ask Neave's help in his campaign to obtain the release of his father, whip is ill in a British military hospital after being in Spandau Prison, Berlin, for 25 years. Mr Neave was the officer who served the war crimes indictment on Hess before the Nuremberg trials.
