RMG7RG12–A huge beehive rises on a bombed site next to Madame Tussaud's waxworks exhibition in Marylebone Road, London. In the autumn it will open as the first-ever planetarium in Britain and the Commonwealth. Once opened, visitors will be able to see movements of the stars and planets projected on the ceiling of the dome by optical equipment, which is now being made at the Zeiss works at Oberkochen, West Germany. The planetarium is being built for Tussaud's and its opening will mark the exhibition's bicentenary. The dome is 73 feet in diameter. Inside, there will be seating room for some 500 people.

Today's versions of these head-dresses are much more expanded and more colorful. Note the small shawl-like accessories on the women and the finely made dress on the little girl, who holds a doll. The boy, in a sailor uniform, holds a ball or mellon or ?? The women and girl each wear a cross on a necklace. The women wear simple but fine-looking shoes.
