RMHEWEJ4–Cord Westchester Sedan 1937 The Cord 810 of 1936 and the 812 of 1937 were some of the most visually striking cars of all time and were also the most mechanically advanced of their day, including an optional supercharger that more than half of the buyers requested. Sadly, they were the also last cars to emerge from the dynamic team of E L Cord and Gordon Beurig. Less than 3000 of these cars were made in the two years of production.
RMHEWE0D–The regular Bentley 6½ Litre and the high-performance Bentley Speed Six were sports and luxury cars based on Bentley rolling chassis[2] in production from 1926 to 1930. The Speed Six, introduced in 1928, would become the most-successful racing Bentley. Two Bentley Speed Six became known as the Blue Train Bentleys after their owner Woolf Barnato's involvement in the Blue Train Races of 1930.

Cord was noted for its innovative technology and streamlined designs. Cord had a philosophy to build truly different, innovative cars, believing they would also sell well and turn a profit

Located in Herstal near Liege (Luik) the company produced in 1899 its fi rst automobile, a 2 cylinder, 796 cc capacity with a transverse engine, 2 forward and 1 reverse gear. RMHEWECW–The Bentley 4½ Litre was a British car based on a rolling chassis built by Bentley Motors.[1] Walter Owen Bentley replaced the Bentley 3 Litre with a more powerful car by increasing its engine displacement to 4.4 L (270 cu in). Bentley buyers used their cars for personal transport and arranged for their new chassis to be fitted with various body styles, mostly saloons or tourers. However, the publicity brought by their competition programme was invaluable for marketing Bentley's cars.[citation needed] At the time, noted car manufacturers like Bugatti and Lorraine-Dietrich focused on designin
RMHEWEFA–To replace the large six-litre GL at the top of the Delage range, the company prepared a new eight-cylinder engine for 1930. This was used in the D8 and it became the company's most noteworthy design, ofter described as the 'Rolls-Royce of French Cars'. Unlike Louis Delage's earlier racing promotion, the D8 focused on refined elegance, the type that would gain acclaim at the then upcoming Concours scene. An early prototype featured Delage's first production car eight, but it's 7-liter was too large for realistic production. Instead, Delage chose 4-liters that could rev more freely and produc
RMHEWER2–The R Type is the second series of post-war Bentley automobiles, replacing the Mark VI. Essentially a larger-boot version of the Mk VI, the R type is regarded by some as a stop-gap before the introduction of the S series cars in 1955. As with its predecessor, a standard body was available as well as coachbuilt versions by firms including H. J. Mulliner & Co., Park Ward, Harold Radford, Freestone and Webb and others. Other than the radiator grilles and the carburation there was little difference between the standard Bentley R Type and the Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn. The R Type was the more po

Priced at $750 for the Model K or $950 for the Model M, 3,650 units were sold that year. The K and M were essentially similar to the Models E and F from 1905 but with updated bodies. Production and sale of the Models K and M continued in 1907. Three 1907 Model Ks were used in the famous Dewar Trophy test of the Royal Automobile Club in England.[3] They were disassembled, the parts mixed, and then reassembled without problems. RMHEWEP5–In 1889 the eyes of the world turned to Paris and the World Exposition. The biggest attraction – in all senses of the word – was the tower wrought in iron by Gustave Eiffel. But something else that fascinated the crowds of visitors to the show was the use of electric bulbs to illuminate many of the exhibition stands – the very epitome of the modern age. Never one to be left behind, Gottlieb Daimler installed thirty electric light bulbs around his stand, powered by current generated from his “illumination car”, a mobile mini power station equipped with Daimler engine and electricity generator.
RMHEWJEW–Robert Craig Hupp debuted the first Hupmobile in 1909. Despite being produced for the lower-price class, the Hupmobile featured a two-speed sliding gear transmission and high tension magneto. Following Hupp's departure from the company in 1911, Hupmobile underwent a transformation and became a fairly successful car company. The Model 32, a larger and more powerful vehicle than its predecessor, debuted in 1912 and sold well over the next few years.

RMHEWFRP–Clément-Bayard was a French manufacturer of automobiles, aeroplanes and airships founded in 1903 by the entrepreneur Adolphe Clément-Bayard (née Adolphe Clément). The name celebrated the Chevalier Pierre Terrail, seigneur de Bayard who saved the town of Mézières in 1521. A statue of the Chevalier stood in front of the Mézières factory, and the image was incorporated into the company logo. From 1903 Clément-Bayard automobiles were built in a 'state of the art' factory at Mézières, known as La Macérienne, which Clément had designed in 1894 mainly for building bicycles.

The four-cylinder Model A engine was no longer offered, leaving just the 221 CID (3.6 L) V8 to power every Ford car and truck. The transverse leaf spring suspension remained, but the front spring was relocated ahead of the axle to allow more interior volume. The body was lowered and new "Center-Poise" seating improved comfort. Visually, the 1935 Ford was much more modern with the grille pushed forward and made more prominent by de-emphasized and more-integrated fenders. A major advance was a true integrated trunk o

Hence the new company's alternative title of La Societe des Voitures Legeres Unic. There was, however, nothing utilitarian about the Unic car, which first appeared in the early part of 1905. They harped that the TF was obsolete from the day it was announced and that it looked old-fashioned at a time when everyone was looking for futuristic "envelope" shapes. More telling, they made it known that the TF was far too slow to keep up with Triumph's new TR2. Although TF sales held up well at first, the public soon came to agree with the critics. Thus, within two years it was all over for the TF, and the 100-mph MGA took its place.
