Bovington, UK. 29th June, 2013. The FV107 Scimitar is an armoured reconnaissance vehicle (sometimes classed as a light tank) used by the British Army. It is very similar to the FV101 Scorpion but mounts a high velocity 30 mm L21 RARDEN cannon instead of a 76 mm gun. The Enerca Anti - tank grenade fired from Rifle: It was announced today by the War Minister Mr. Anthony Head in a statement about the Army Estimates that the British Infantryman is being provided with a complete family of new weapons. The smallest of these new weapons is the anti-tank grenade,weighing only 21 ozs with a destructive capacity equal to the most powerful infantry anti tank guns used in the last war. It was demonstrated at the Small Arms School, Hythe which is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its formation.
