WW1 (1914-1918) British War Medal, awarded to Norman Burgoyne Youel of the Royal Navy. He was promoted to Lieutenant for Bombardment of Alexandria. Naval Cadet, 15th January 1874, Midshipman 16th March 1876, Sub Lieutenant 17th March 1880, Lieutenant 11th July 1882. Retired from his rank of Commander on 9th September 1905. Later entitled to a British War Medal for his service during WW1 and a Royal Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Died in Hythe, Kent, 25th July 1956.
