Winner of this year's Horse Trotting Exhibition along the Highway, Stepney, was 10 year old gelding, High Road Pride driven by greengrocer, Wally Hart of Stepney. Three horses took part in the exhibition for charity. The proceeds to go to helping make a happy Christmas for the Old Age Pensioners of the Derby and Joan Club in Deancross Street, E.1. The winner in the Three Swedish Crowns Pub after the exhibition with the owner and Billy Walker there to see fair play. December 1969 Z12060-001
