Thousands of tourists visit the popular island of Santorini each year. The town of Oia is one of the most popular towns to visit and to stay in but the narrow and sometimes steep pavements are difficult to negotiate with luggage. The use of donkeys to carry luggage to hard to access hotels is a traditional and still highly effective solution.
