The Frederick C. Robie House, a Frank Lloyd Wright home built between 1908-10. It is renowned as the greatest example of the Prairie Style of archtecture, the first style recognized as purely American. It is designated as a National Historic Landmark, a Chicago Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located on the campus of the Univesity of Chicago in the Hyde Park neighborhood on the city's south side.
