The burning city of Dresden after the bombing attacks by the Allies, the British Royal Airforce and the United States Army Air Forces, in the night between 13 February and 14 February 1945. The picture was taken at the Waltherstraße in Dresden looking at the Ostragehege. At the end of the war in May 1945, one third of all apartments in Dresden were destroyed.
