This Korean martial art has its origins in various formats in ancient combat techniques that over the centuries developed villages in the peninsula, when in their struggle for survival should manage to perfect techniques that allow them to survive when faced with invaders. All element constituted a weapon, and when there were none, hands and bare feet should be sufficient to preserve life, family or territory.
