School of the Air teacher speaks to students on distant stations (ranches) via live videocam hookup using satellite broadband technology - Broken Hill, New South Wales, AUSTRALIA. In 2003 VHF radio communication was replaced with a satellite system. Remote students are now able to see and talk to studio-based teachers on their home computers, provided by the Department of Education and Training. This has been a major advance, allowing students to experience visual learning as well as improve their technology skills., “Langidoon Station”, near “Broken Hill”, , "New South Wales", Australia, ,
