Ravenna, Ravenna Province, Italy. The cupola in San Vitale basilica. The fresoes were painted between 1778 and 1782 by three artists, Barozzi, Gandolfi and Guarana. The basilica was begun in the 6th century and is one of eight early Christian monuments in Ravenna which constitute a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
