Pauline Woodgate (right) and her daughter Gervaise, photographed at their Crawley home, were left devastated after the death of their son and brother Miles Woodgate who recently died from cancer aged 26. The family of a 26-year-old man who died of cancer are planning legal action against doctors who they claim failed to spot the disease for three years. Miles Woodgate first went to his GP with severe abdominal pains in December 1999 but, according to his sister, was told nothing was wrong. Blood tests were taken when he went back weeks later still in agony but the results were lost, his family said today.
