New Radnor, Powys, Wales - Saturday 10th October 2015 - The Vintage Sports Car Club ( VSCC ) hill climb trial challenge on The Smatcher a steep wooded hill just outside New Radnor. This Welsh Trial has been running since 1939. Competitors score points the further they drive up the steep hill with 25 points being awarded for reaching the top. The passengers act as "bouncers" who bounce to help the car grip on the steep sections. Shown here is a Sunbeam car from 1928 about to start the hill climb.
