Loyalty address of the Austrian bishops for the annexation of Austria, 1938. Solemn Declaration by the Austrian bishops to the referendum in Austria on the 'AnschluÃ?' (annexation). The bishops explain to vote for annexation to the Reich during the referendum. The declaration was passed for publication in the newspapers in 1938, together with a letter of Archbishop Theodore Innitzer and a preface of the bishops by the Propaganda Ministry.
