London, UK. 9 September 2016. Colourful, traditional paper lanterns are being hung in Chinatown for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Held annually on the 15th day of the 8th month in the lunar calendar, it is the second most important holiday after Chinese New Year and celebrates harvest and the bright harvest moon. For many Chinese, the moon symbolises prosperity, peace and reunion. Credit: Stephen Chung / Alamy Live News
