KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, SOUTH AFRICA: BIZARRE pictures by a British tourist show how there was no escape for this giant blind snake as it was swallowed alive by a hungry bird. The meal-time images show the snake struggle to get away after the Marabou Stork picks it up, but ultimately the huge waiting mouth is the only place to go. The images were captured by retired International Tax and Customs Consultant Ken Haley (63), from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, as he was in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
