Waxwings are heading inland after arriving at the coast before Christmas The bird on the left is ringed. This is the information about it: This bird was ringed as a first winter male at Stormont road, New Scone near Perth in Scotland, on 15th December 2016. It was fitted with metal ring NW590015, wing measured 120mm and it weighed 72.0g. It was one of 16 birds ringed that day from a flock of 200.
