'Colour My World – A Celebration of the Life of Jackie Trent' was a memorial service held at Holy Trinity Church, Chesterton, a small former mining village in the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England, on Friday 8 May 2015. Jackie Trent (born Yvonne Burgess) was an English singer-songwriter. She was born on 6 September 1940 and died 21 March 2015. In partnership with Tony Hatch, whom she later married, she wrote hit songs for many artistes, including Petula Clark, Sweet Sensation, Scott Walker, Shirley Bassey, Perry Como, Val Doonican, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Junior. She co-wrote the theme to the Australian tv soap opera 'Neighbours' and even suggested the title of the show. After divorce from Hatch in 2002 she married Colin Gregory in 2005. She died in hospital in Minorca, Spain, on 21 March 2015. © John Henshall / Alamy Live News
