25th November 2015. Great Yarmouth woman Lisa Borrett, who has cerebral palsy, defeats medical sceptics by learning to walk again after a life in a wheelchair. Completing the longest walk of her life and her first outdoors to raise money for local charity Centre 81 and her own enterprise Life Takes Two, 34 year old Lisa even manages a lap of honour around the quarter mile athletics track at the Wellesley recreation Ground in Great Yarmouth. Helped by former international athlete Paul Brice, Lisa has fought tirelessly against the condition which stole her teenage years. “I am determined to raise money for the incredible Centre 81 and for Life Takes Two which I set up to help more people like me who believe they can’t do anything, " she said.
