It is a free educational institution managed by Join Together Society (JTS), one of the member organizations of Jungto Society, a South Korea-based Buddhist relief organization committing to eradicate famine, disease, and illiteracy regardless of country, ethnicity, and religion. The society's headquarter is in Seoul, South Korea._Coming from poor families living on rural settlements in and around Dungeshwari, a village popularly known as a Buddhist pilgrimage destination site, each day the Sujata Technical School students listen to their teacher's review of the whole study of the day and arrangement of extracurricular activities. They also take nutritional supplements provided by the teachers._UNESCO's data on Participation in Education shows that the number of out-of-school children in India in 2013 was more than 2 millions (male) and almost 1 million (female), with gross enrolment rate of the same year in secondary education was between 60 percent and 70 percent for both male and female._Bihar is one of the poorest states in India.
