Feb. 02, 1967 - Antique German Field Gun for Sale : Standing on the forscourt outside the shop of antique dealer, Jerome Titus Walah, in Hull, is an 80mm. German field gun, a relio of the first World War. Until last summer, the gun reposed in the garden of an elderly ex-colonel who brought the gun back in 1918 as a souvenir. When he died, his widow sold the gun to Mr.Walsh. Not with standing the gun's condition - Mr.Walsh reckons it has had no maintenance in 50 years and would need a complete overhaul before anyone could fire it - the gun like it in Britian - in a London war museum

Not with standing the gun's condition - Mr.Walsh reckons it has had no maintenance in 50 years and would need a complete overhaul before anyone could fire it - the gun like it in Britian - in a London war museum. As household decoration, the gun is not everyone's object d'art because it measures 14ft.long by 7ft, wide and weights 1 1/2 tons. Mr.Walsh has already turned down offers up to £120. Nominally he is pricing her at £150 (delivery included). Nominally, because the truth is that he really doesn't want to part with the gun.
