More than 20, 000 demonstrators filled Copley Square in central Boston protesting President Donald Trump’s executive order stopped immigration from Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Libya and Syria to the United States. Several thousand of the demonstrators then walked a mile through the city center to the Massachusetts State House where the chanted for the governor. The demonstration in Copley Square was organized by the Massachusetts branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, CAIR.
