Baptism of Saint Olga of Kiev in Constantinople. Stained glass window in Saint Barbara's Church in Kutna Hora, Czech Republic. The stained glass window was designed by Czech artist Frantisek Urban and painted by glass master Jan Kryspin (1913) for the South nave of the church. Saint Olga of Kiev, the medieval ruler of Kievan Rus, (C) is depicted as she being baptised by Patriarch Theophylact of Constantinople (L) and Byzantine Emperor Constantine VII Porphyrogennetos (R) in Hagia Sophia in 955 AD in Constantinople, the Byzantine Empire. The window was donated to the church by Emanuel Vesely and his wife Olga Vesela, born as Olga Stietkova.
