Apollo 15 was launched July 26, 1971 9:34 a.m. EDT and touched down at the Hadley-Appenine site on the Moon on July 30 at 6:16 p.m. EDT, staying a total of 66 hours and 55 minutes. Astronaut Alfred Worden was the command module pilot; James Irwin was lunar module pilot; David Scott was the commander.
