Between Pau and Tarbes, on the "des Pyrenees" rest area of the French A64 (motorway), a monument dedicated to the Tour de France was erected in 1995-1996 (France). It symbolizes the climb of a mountain (certainly the famous Tourmalet) won by the yellow jersey competitor on seven other cyclists. Aire de repos dite "des Pyrénées" sur la A64 entre Pau et Tarbes qui montre le monument dédié au Tour de France érigé en 1995 - 1996. Il symbolise l'ascension d'une montagne ( le célèbre Tourmalet certainement) gagnée par le couteur maillot jaune sur sept autres coureurs.
