This image shows a building in Germia Park, a public area outside Prishtina in Kosovo, that was destroyed during the 1999 war between Kosovo and Serbia. The area was mined during the conflict. UNMIK, who took over administration of Kosovo after the conflict, have cleared many mines from the Park and it is generally safe to go there, provided you keep to the paths. However, this shattered building is in an area that has not yet been cleared. Signs (not shown in this image), warn of the presence of land-mines and razor wire prevents access to the building.
