Illustration by Henry Marriott Paget (1857-1936) from a special edition history of England published in 1903. Bishop Gilbert Burnet announcing the death of William III, he had rushed from the King's deathbed to be first with the news in the hope of currying favour with the new Queen, however he was to be out of favour during her reign as she saw him as a buffoon.
