September 12th, London, UK. Trans people march through London for progressive reform of the Gender Recognition Act (the law that governs the way adult trans men and women gain legal recognition of their gender), and against transphobic rhetoric. They are campaigning for their rights to be guaranteed in the Equality Act, and are standing against political interference in healthcare for young trans people. Organisers are concerned about the recent rise in violence towards the trans+ community. This is only the second march that the group have held in London. Bridget Catterall/Alamy Live News
