The Battle of Gettysburg, July 1, 2, 3, 1863, resulted in a victory for the Union Army of the Potomac against Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia. Most of the battlefield is now preserved and memorialized as part of the Gettysburg National Military Park in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, USA.
