Luis del Sol (1958) Luis del Sol (1958). - Luis del Sol, captain of Betis and Internacional, was born in Arcos del Jalón (Soria), but at a very young age he moved with his family to the Sevillian neighborhood of San Jerónimo, where he grew up. A footballer endowed with great technical and physical qualities, he soon stood out and was noticed by Real Madrid, a club that signed him in 1960. He was European champion with the Madridistas.
