London, UK 19 Nov 2021 A steady stream of patients arriving at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. The NHS is under severe pressure with Covid cases rising and a backlog of more than 5.7 million patients in England alone. Hospitals are more full than at any time since November 2020. With Winter drawing in and the likelihood of more flu cases, the NHS is at breaking point.
