Hong Kong, China. 04th June, 2023. An elderly Hongkonger lights up his cell phone as a personal vigil to those who died in the Tiananmen Massacre. Sitting by himself on a bench in Victoria Park, the man, 72, recounted that he used to visit the park every year to honour those who perished. His wife told him to be safe, as both were aware of the presence of dozens of Hong Kong Police officers detaining those who showed up with candles, flowers, or any other sign of mourning.
