Eroded strata in sea cliffs on the west coast of St Ninian's Isle on the west coast of the south of Mainland Shetland. These rocks are of Colla Firth Permeation and Injection Belt - pelite, migmatitic. This is metamorphic bedrock formed approximately 541 to 1000 million years ago and was originally sedimentary rock, but later altered by low-grade metamorphism.
