Tereza Obadalova works in a laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University Scientists of the Faculty of Medicine informed about the discovery of an enzyme which decides on the future purpose of stem cells in the early stages of human development. A small protein labeled PTP1B is responsible for whether a particular cell will form the basis of internal organs or the nervous system.
