An engraving showing a south-west view of old Scarborough (Yorkshire UK) with its castle, spa and other buildings as they were in 1735. The building at the far left is the original Scarborough Spa . It was nicknamed Dickey's Castle after its first administrator Richard Dickinson (inset top right) who had an deforming condition known as acromegaly (similar to Joseph Merrick the 'Elephant Man').
