A pair of Italian early Gothic cuisses and poleyns partly circa 1410-20. The cuisses each formed of two upwardly overlapping gutter-shaped lames with no provision for additional plates hinged at the inner sides, the upper with its upper edge swept acutely upwards to the rear and finished with an outwardly turned angular flange, the lower with medial ridge, cut with a shallow cusp along the subsidiary edge and the two lames slotted for straps at the right-hand edges, the poleyns each with medial ridge and oval side-wing, the latter cut with a line, Additional-Rights-Clearance-Info-Not-Available
