1970s, in-flight a Bristol F2B, a two-seater WW1 fighter and reconnaisance aircraft which first flew in 1916. D8096 was built in 1918, but was too late to see service during the First World War, but was used by No. 208 Squadron in Turkey in 1923. Brought in 1936 by Captain C.P.B. Ogilvie, it was then was acquired by the Shuttleworth Collection and restored by the Bristol Aeroplane Company, flying again in February 1952.
