Fridamania
Coined in the 1990s, ‘Fridamania’ is used to describe the artist Frida Kahlo and the pop culture icon she has become in today's society. This commercial collection draws inspiration from Kahlo’s distinctive paintings and appearance, from her bold, iconic eyebrows to her representation of Central America's indigenous communities. And from now until January 2027, you can see her most iconic paintings at the Tate Modern in ‘Frida: The Making of an Icon’ alongside a ‘Beyond Boundaries’ exhibition - a series of Kahlo-inspired public murals around Bankside, London.

Swiss National Day
On the 1st of August, the Swiss will be celebrating Swiss National Day. Commemorating the founding of the Swiss Confederacy (widely regarded as the founding of Switzerland) it has been celebrated since 1899 but was only made a national holiday in 1994. Rather than grand national events, celebrations are more local, bringing together communities who decorate their towns with flags, set off fireworks and wear traditional Swiss outfits. In the spirit of these celebrations, check out our collection celebrating all things Swiss!
