Penitents of the Archicofradía de Paz y Caridad, wearing purple robes and hoods, carry a large wooden crucifix through Calle San Lázaro in Cuenca, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. The independent and very old brotherhood unites several hermandades and stages its own procession on Maundy Thursday, in which members of all affiliated hermandades take part in their respective habit colours. It is one of 33 hermandades that stage a total of eleven processions during Cuenca's Semana Santa.
