"In a time, where it’s often about visiting places just for a quick social media snapshot and a selfie, I want to make people realize that it’s not about themselves and what they are missing when always rushing through the world around them. The real gems in travel are hidden in the time you’ll allow yourself to experience a place."
Mathias Rhode is a self-taught photographer and time lapse creator based in Berlin, Germany. Originally holding a degree in communication and working as Director of Marketing in various tech startups, Mathias developed his passion for travel photography and the great outdoors while traveling around the world for seven months in 2015. He continues to visit countries around the world, capturing stunning landscapes and telling the stories nature has to offer when wandering around with eyes wide open. His time lapse videos visualize what’s normally hidden from the human eye and experience the ever-changing conditions the natural forces have to offer. He has visited about 50 countries and recently added drone photography to his portfolio.www.traveler-story.com

"The human-animal bond is one of the most powerful and primal ones there is. Making that connection with a dog or cat when I'm working with them is the heart of what I do and my greatest joy. It probably also explains why I spend a good part of my day lying on the ground (on purpose) and all my clothes are covered in fur."
Mark Rogers is a San Francisco-based commercial photographer with an uncanny ability to draw out the personalities and emotions of his animal subjects as well as capturing the unique bond they share with human beings. His eye-catching, often humorous images of dogs and cats - plus a few other animals - appear in national advertising campaigns and print publications. His book Thanks for Picking Up My Poop: Everyday Gratitude from Dogs was published in 2015. Mark is also highly sought by private clients to work with their pets and donates much of free time to animal welfare and rescue groups. Mark lives with his wife, their dog, Bizzy, and their cat, the mischievous Jimmy Chew.www.markrogersphotography.com

"To me compelling photography is the use of light in the service of the revelation of a hidden truth."
Mateusz Wiglinzki is a director and photographer born in Berlin, Germany. He moved to Vienna in 2011 to take up theatre, film and media studies at university there. Since then Mateusz has worked in film and cultural productions and directed and produced his own short films. During this productive time his photographic talent had also begun to emerge. As his focus shifted more to photography Mateusz concentrated on images of people, street & incidental and abstract photography. His fascination for these genres is driven in his portraiture by the chase for personal facets of truth, in street & incidental photography by the spontaneous and authentic elements of randomness and in abstract photography by the creation of an imaginary space for the projection of thoughts and feelings. Mateusz currently works as a freelance filmmaker and photographer in Vienna.www.wiglinzki.de
