Kevin Ebi’s photography reveals what it feels like to experience nature’s wonder and captures it as a “living wilderness”.View collection ›
"The real world is often more spectacular than the one we imagine. While I do research before I head outside, I approach nature with an open mind, rather than imposing my imagination on the land. Research opens my eyes to opportunities. Classical art principles guide me to turn those opportunities into images that help people feel as if they were there."
Kevin Ebi spent his childhood in some of America’s most stunning national parks and now uses photography to bring the world’s wilderness areas to life for others. Two of his images have been used on U.S. Forever postage stamps, including one commemorating the centennial of the National Park Service. His publishing credits include National Geographic, Smithsonian, BBC Earth and National Wildlife. He specializes in crafting images to tell environmental stories and is the author of six books, including “Year of the Eagle,” which illustrates how bald eagles grow up, learn to fly and start families of their own.http://www.livingwilderness.com
